I cleaned up the figures and started to paint the faces.
I have built up a personal collection of miniature figurines. Starting with commercially available kits, the collection was gradually built up to represent various aspects of military subjects and now, includes many other unique figures which represent cultural subjects, all sculpted from epoxy putty, plastic and metal over wire armatures. This blog will record the curation of this diverse and evolving collection.

Verlinden French Officer
How many of you remember this resin figure from about the 70s? I think it is out of production now. The figure is not unattractive but seems to be in a state of permanent puberty. The boots look good.
I dug it out of my stash and am thinking of ways to recraft it into something else.

I've completed the major sculpts on the deGaulle and Dowding figure. Some undercoat painting to highlight defects and has been done.
