Antoine Lasalle (2)

One needs considerable gumption to re-work an old piece. But the results of cutting through the legs and lengthening them are beginning to look promising.

Right leg lengthened

Left leg lengthened

The legs being padded with putty. The tigerskin shabraque has had its red fringe and gold lining removed as it looked messy. This will be re-worked as well.

This shows the figure mounted. The putty was also shaped to conform to the voluminous trousers. I started to add more fur to the pelisse as many existing examples show considerable fur on these items of clothing. Note that there is a new layer of lining being added to the edge of the tigerskin.
