Fifer 3rd Ligne (7)

More progress on this piece.

 Back pack straps were added from metal strip. A back pack was added. Two arms were pinned and fitted onto the figure without fixing in place to allow further positioning of the arms and hands. The head had to be repositioned more to the left to accomodate the fife. The collar was resculpted. As this was very fiddly work, the sword was removed. 

The cuff decorations were added and the figure was undercoated in acrylic colours. Two imperfections, not obvious in this photo, had to be rectified. The left arm was slightly longer than the right arm and the leggings were higher on the left foot.
