New Russian castings

I bought some figures from Russia just to view the quality. These are very good looking figures with terrific detail. However, as these are single piece castings, the poses are necessarily limited and sometimes rather "flat". The height of these figures is about 60-65mm, making them about 1:30-1:28 scale. Still, the pricing is very good and there are a lot of figures on offer.

I am exploring whether it is feasible to convert them - is the metal soft enough to cut through, is the large scale compatible with other figures etc.
