The sash was painted in undercoat.
The arms were remodelled and refitted to the body with wire inserts. The gloves were built up. The epaulettes were resculpted
Holes were pre-drilled into the horse to locate the kettledrums.
My recent research also shows that the kettledrum banners were longer. New banners were made from copper sheet. The fringes were added from epoxy putty and the copper sheet was bent and curled to fit around the kettledrum.
