Hugh Dowding
This was a single figure casting from U. Puchala, a German kit manufacturer. As Dowding was famous for his role in the Battle of Britain, I had tried to depict this figure in a bombed out area. In retrospect, I had placed the figure on an oversized base.
I have decided to rebase the figure on a simple base, to form a part of my small WW2 personalities collection. Based on photos, Dowding was a tall man. This figure is in 1/35 scale and requires some conversion to make him taller.
