NHD PLO bagpiper

I discovered that this figure was meant to represent a bagpiper of the PLO, as given in a Osprey MAA book.

I drilled out and pinned the head to the body slightly angled forward. Looking at the pipes, I decided to replace one of them with a nail, and drilled out the others to take thin wires for strength. The tops were also drilled out as these pipes were hollow.

All the tubes were epoxied in place. The bagpipe was filled out with more putty and the right arm was twisted to hold the pipe correctly.

the head and neck was resculpted.

The waist was filled out and more chin was added to the face. A bit of hair was added to the back of the head.
