FFL Kettledrummer 2

Following a close examination of the figure, I decided that I had to correct some anatomical features. There were other uniform details which should also be rectified. Hence it would appear that I have to do a complete makeover on this piece.

I removed the kettledrums to get at the legs. The boots were removed and the trousers were carved back to the correct proportions.

The fetlocks were added with a pyrogravure.

The boots were refitted with new stirrups and reattached in the correct position, checking that both were in correct alignment. One boot was refitted with a new spur made from thin wire.

The trousers were resculpted with jodhpurs. The front of the saddlecloth was also alignment and resculpted. The forelock on the horse was removed and the decorative fringe on the forehead and breastband was removed.
